Privacy Notice and Licence Agreement

Agreement

HTTP-Downloader is built on an intention to help people. You are allowed to use HTTP-Downloader free of cost (Except for some premium features) only for the purpose it is designed to be.

  1. HTTP-Downloader is solely the property of Resonance. Resonance holds the supreme control but limited responsibility over HTTP-Downloader
  2. Without written permission from Resonance, you do not have the right to re-distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit bugs of HTTP-Downloader.
  3. Using HTTP-Downloader from sources other than Google Play store is strictly prohibited. You are not allowed to install APKs obtained from third party sources (websites other than Google play store, other Android devices, etc.). Resonance is not responsible for any problems caused to you or your device while using HTTP-Downloader received from sources other than Google play store.
  4. You are not allowed to use HTTP-Downloader as a medium to harm others (for example stealing credentials). Resonance holds the right to decide whether to take legal actions in such scenarios if HTTP-Downloader is involved directly or indirectly.
  5. You are solely responsible for any kind of personal data leak from HTTP-Downloader. We expect our users to be aware of basic digital data protection measures. Resonance does not upload any personally identifiable data of users to their web servers. But such data (For example HTTP Cookies) may be stored on the device’s app-specific secure storage provided by Android.
  6. HTTP-Downloader does not guarantee complete reliability. Resonance is not responsible for any malfunction of HTTP-Downloader which may include damage to your device or data. Resonance will not be responsible for any compensation even if you are a paid user and the app does not meet your expectation. If you notice any mistakes in the operation of HTTP-Downloader, please report it to Resonance as soon as possible so that the issue could be permanently fixed.
  7. The data collected by Resonance is anonymous and it can be associated with you only if you provide us the unique App id (displayed in App’s Settings Page). Resonance is obligated to delete all your data, including your request to delete it, in case you request to us through the mail.
  8. Resonance holds the privilege to terminate your accessibility to HTTP-Downloader without any prior notice at any time. Resonance is not obligated to represent you a reason for the termination.
  9. You are not allowed to use HTTP-Downloader unless you agree to fully abide all these conditions.

Privacy notice

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for HTTP-Downloader. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this application. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the app, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Data we collect

We collect the following data from users of our app

  1. Anonymous Usage statistics (The way you interact with our app) for understanding usage trends & improving usability. This is not tagged with any personally identifiable information. So no one (inlcuding administrators of Resonance) can link your personal identity with your usage information unless you have explicitely shared your unique app identifier with Resonance. You can turn this of in app’s settings at any time.
  2. Google advertising id (indirectly via Google Play Services) for showing you relevant ads & offering you in-app paid features.
  3. Non-sensitive logs are collected and stored on device’s secure storage for troubleshooting purposes. This is not transmitted through network unless you explicitely mail the log file to Resonance.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Resonance is the sole owner of the information collected using HTTP-Downloader. Only 2 members of Resonance has access to the information that you voluntarily share with Resonance via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell, rent or share this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to approve an in-app purchase.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You can do the following at any time by contacting us via email (resonance00x0@gmail.com) and Resonance is obligated to fullfil your need:

  1. See what data we have about you, if any.
  2. Change/correct any data we have about you.
  3. Have us delete any data we have about you.
  4. Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the our app, your information is protected both online and offline. But if your share your sensitive information outside our app, we do not hold any responsibility of its security even though HTTP-Downloader may be directly involved in the process. For example, we won’t be responsible for misuse of your credentials if someone uses your shared download data to hijack your session.
Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is transmitted and stored to us in a secure way (through standard HTTPS to Google FireBase).

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information which you share with us via mail for troubleshooting.

If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via email (resonance00x0@gmail.com) so that we could take necessary steps to fix it.
